High-output alternators
Standard alternators in marine and automotive applications are often limited in terms of their output and ability to delivery power for extended periods. As a replacement or second alternator, High Power Alternators are designed to delivery high current at low engine speeds and over longer periods to sustain heavy loads or to charge larger battery banks.
Advanced regulators
As they come, alternators don’t make particularly good battery chargers. There fine for a small engine start battery but, to properly charge larger battery banks a greater level of sophistication is needed. Advanced charge regulators will extract the maximum power available from the alternator to charge the batteries faster and more efficiently!
